I used Scout Brackets for securing my UTV from Iowa to Arizona. I never had to tighten the ratchet straps during the entire trip. I drove through all sorts of weather conditions from -13 degrees when I left to 70 degrees when I arrived. There were times I had to slam on my brakes and drive through rough roads.
